1 : Arrive Delhi: Following your arrival in Delhi transfer
to the Hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi Full day Sightseeing tour:
A Full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. The old city-bustling,
packed, atmospheric will entertain you with a visit to
Redfort, Jama Masjid and the bazaar of Chandini Chowk.
We also visit the Birla Mandir (Lakshminarayan Temple),
the grand Govt. Buildings along with the president's house,
Humayun's tomb (the forerunner of Taj Mahal), and the
India Gate. Visit the Qutab minar the five storey victory
tower started by Qutbuddin Aibak was completed by his
successor, Iltutmish along with the 4th Centuary iron
pillar.
Day 3 : Delhi Agra By Road: Today's morning
drive via Sikandra, leads us to the mughal splendor of Agra
to visit the Taj Mahal and Redfort. The Taj Mahal was build
in 1652 by Emperor Shahjahan. It took 22 years and 22,000
skilled artisans to complete this magnificent architecture.
Apart from the Taj, the magnificent Agra fort (Another creation
of emperor Akbar) offering gorgeous views from its lofty
walls, and the Itmad-ul-Daulah, an exquisite tomb to a persian
adventurer who later became chief minister, whose grand-daughter
Mumtaz married Shah Jehan. Her tomb, is of course, the Taj
Mahal.
Day 4 : Agra Jaipur: Your drive to princely
capital Jaipur takes you via Emperor Akbar deserted city
of Fatehpur Sikri, an almost perfectly preserved 400 Year
old Mughal capital. After admiring its palaces and pavillions
we suggest Lunch at the nearby Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
before we continue to Jaipur. Also called the pink city,
The whole city was painted pink when the Prince of Wales,
Edward VII, Visited jaipur in 1876. Today, Every home
in the city is obliged by law to maintain this facade.
Day 5 : Jaipur: A full day program takes you to
the nearby Amber fort by car, and then to the Fortress
by elephant with a skilled mahout. Later return to Jaipur
to visit the Museums, Palaces and halls within the City
palace (Still a royal Residence) and The palace of winds.
The jantar mantar observatory largest and the best of
the five observatories build by Jai Singh II in different
parts of the country. Hindu's believe that their fated
souls move as per the harmony of the heavens, which is
measured by it.
Day 6 : Jaipur Delhi: After breakfast leave
jaipur by car, Pausing for a lunch at the Neemrana Palace,
a most elegant and historical heritage hotel, before we
drive to the international airport for return flight home.
