A tour of Bangalore, Mysore & Ooty is good mix & a classic introduction to Karnataka. Bangalore is a veritable melting pot of various races & cultures. Emerging as the hi - tech capital of India, this garden city is known for its salubrious climate, an array of restaurants & the maximum numbers of pubs in India. A few hours away is Mysore, with its rich heritage ,magnificent palaces & a quaint old world charm that leaves no one untouched.Ooty ,the 'Queen of hill station', is known for its colonial charm & verdant tea gardens. Its picturesque locales have often been used for Bollywood film shoot.
Arrive Bangalore & drive to Mysore. On arrival, check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit the temple & the huge Nandi Bull on Chamaundi Hill. O/N stay.
Day 2
This morning you will visit the most attractive monuments of Mysore. Designed by the well known British architect, Henry Irwin, the Mysore palace is a treasure house of the exquisite carvings & work of art from all over the world.
Day 3
Today, drive to Ooty, nestled in the Nilgiri Hills. On arrival you will check into your hotel & the rest of the day will be free to soak in the refreshing air of the hill station.
Day 4
In the morning take a Ooty tour, offering the most scenic walk into the dense forest, pretty mountains trails & fabulous view points. The Botanical Gardens & the Ooty Lake are the other attractions of Ooty besides a stroll through the town itself.
Day 5
Take the joy train to Coonoor today for the experience. Vantage points namely, Lamb's Rock, Lady Canning's seat & Dolphins Nose offers splendid views of the countryside.
Day 6
You will be driven to Bangalore from where you will continue your onward journey or you may wish to extend your stay by spending a night in Bangalore.
